Question car battery charger connection?

Got a loan of a Noco genius 10 to try and charge my stop start battery.

https://no.co/genius10

Lots of shorts trips have drained it abit, and I don’t do any long trips. Want to see if it will take/need a good charge.

Do I need to connect the negative to the battery, or will the negative/ground near the battery be ok? The one on the battery isn’t easy to connect to. Positive is easy enough.

Have a look in the car owners manual and it’ll advise if you what you should do / if you shouldn’t connect to the negative terminal.

Different cars can be different…

Edit: also might be a help if you say what car you’ve got - some owners may well know

The negative/ground connection near the battery will be fine Donny.
