Swissvax Cleaner Fluid

Friends,

Of course its approaching Christmas and that means lots of nice presents from other people which are usually Detailing products!

My pride and joy is my 2000 MV Agusta F4 which unfortunately never gets ridden anymore and certainly does not get wet. It sadly sits in the garage and is taken outside into the drive for an open air LSP application around 5 times a year.

I have treated myself to some Swissvax Best of Show and have done so because I have used it before on the solid red of my MV and it gave a fantastic finish.

Swissvax also kindly provided a sample sachet of Cleaner Fluid Regular which I understand should be used prior to application of BOS. I have never used Cleaner Fluid (in any form) before and am wondering how much of this I would typically need for say a year of use.

During the year, I will have first removed any light marring / swirls first and then used the Cleaner Fluid sample prior to the first coat of BOS and then layered the BOS around 26 times (ie every 2 weeks).

I suppose Im trying to ascertain whether Cleaner Fluid is only ever used under the 'first application' of BOS.

I know this maybe a silly question but Cleaner Fluid isnt cheap stuff and I am trying to ascertain whether I will need the 100ml or 250ml versions.

Many thanks

MV

100ml will be more than enough for a bike.100ml Should last you a long time
Its just used to clean the paint to make a base for the wax to go on

If it is just for the bike, then 100ml will be plenty.

Cleaner fluid is designed to clean the paint and lay down a layer ready for wax application. Don't use it over wax unless you want to remove the wax.

26 times! On an unridden bike! I get that it’s nice to do, but that is overkill to the overkillest!
BOS isn’t cheap either!

I’d agree that’s definitely on the excessive side

Loving the image
