My Tesla Model S Performance

Somewhat reluctantly I decided to replace my RS4, which I've owned for seven years and which has been a cracking family wagon, with this Tesla Model S Performance. Luckily, I don't think I've made a mistake! It's a lovely looking thing, and pretty amazing to drive (I have the 0-60 in 2.3 seconds "Ludicrous" version).

Detailing wise the condition of the car was far from great when I picked it up, I reckon it had been sat outside a while (mould on some exterior rubber window trims), and then washed (badly) a couple of times. The result was plenty of light swirls - I actually wasn't that disappointed though, because it gave me a chance to get the DA out and get it perfect. I only had to decontimate, clay and then use M205 with a polishing pad to get it it was spot on.

I then protected it with GTechniq coatings all round (paint, glass and wheels), and am really happy with the end result.

Haven't seen my mates one for a while but i'm sure it looks different - is it the lights??.

Looks lovely by the way. Good job.

Yes minor changes over the years, major one being the front bumper/grille area.

Build quality is actually really good now, it's taken eight years of struggle, but they're now at the level of the German manufacturers in my opinion.

Great colour, but you must be the first. My neighbour has all variants of Tesla & build quality is very poor.
